The bond of their love should be dissolved as the woman is wedded to another man. Therefore she cannot, nor ought to love the recipient of letter, who was her former lover.

Amoris vestri vinculum per effectum operum dissolvatur quoniam nupsi viro qui me maritali annulo subarravit, cinxit collum meum lapidibus pretiosis deditque vestes auro et gemmis plurimum renitentes; unde non possum nec debeo tecum more solito iocundari.
