This is in reply to the model letter whose incipit reads: A. et B. parentes C. utinam meritis. C., who is a student in Bologna, expresses his bitterness and sorrow because his enemies convinced his parents to believe he is behaving badly. Yet, he did not abandon his studies and he cunducts himself honestly in all things.
